Ribomed develops products for the detection of DNA, RNA, protein and CpG methylation, with our current focus on the following two types of epigenetic changes:

• Methylation changes in regulatory regions of DNA and histones that cause silencing of protective genes, such as tumor suppressors or activation of disease initiating genes.



• Changes in expression of small micro RNAs (miRNA) that regulate the levels of proteins involved in disease initiation and expression, particularly those related to cancer and type 2 diabetes.
